It was all a dream

I awoke to find myself in a light sweat. I felt as though I had been running the way my legs were tight. I briefly gasped for air as though someone had taken my breath away. I wasn’t quite sure where I had been for moment. Terrifying.  I don’t always have those types of dreams , but when I do..its always the same effect. Fear. I know what that means. You only come around when things are going well in my world. You always manage to invade my dreams. Fear cripples the strongest mind in a blink of an eye. There’s never a time when fear is welcome, especially not in my dreams.  I will overcome you, fear. My dreams are not for you to visit…but I know it was all just a dream.
